In order to kick off our goal of promoting fantasy works throughout Inkpop, I sifted through the weekly chart toppers for the fantasy genre to find the projects that have climbed the charts, and I picked one to feature on our page, and the work for this week: Fighting for Shera. The novel has made leaps and bounds up the chart since it was posted on Sunday, and currently is ranked #514 on the overall charts.
Fighting for Shera
After his mother's murder, Lark has been lost in a whirl of pain and struggle. Everyday he fights to forget the memories that incessantly stake through his mind. Then, on a day that should have been like any other, the tables turn.
Zoe, the leader of the secret society that rebels against the law of the city of Shera, offers him acceptance into the safety of his protection. For what, only Zoe knows.
If that weren't enough, he finds himself in company of two friends, one of Zoe's agents, and a little girl, thrown into the beginnings of chaos. Together, they must escape the war that has broken out not only in Shera, but through all of the three kingdoms. But with their escape comes the unwanted truth - truth that they did not want to learn. Secrets are being uncovered. And with these secrets comes the knowledge of what could either save them, or end everything.
But what's the thing they want the most? Justice or freedom?

Fantasy On Inkpop
Hello there, all my inkie (and noninkie) friends! Welcome to the blog for the newly formed Inkpop Fantasy Society. I was surprised upon seeing that there are so many people on Inkpop who enjoy fantasy, but there was yet to be a society formed for the writers, so I decided that it was time to add one along to our sister societies, The Inkpop Historical Society, The Inkpop Mystery Society, and the Inkpop Romance Society. To all of you who have joined, thank you for your support, and to all you people who have yet to join, what are you waiting for?!
